Trying to remove the bottom pieces out of my Kitchenaid dishwasher

DWQA QuestionsTrying to remove the bottom pieces out of my Kitchenaid dishwasher

Trying to remove the bottom pieces out of my Kitchenaid dishwasher to access the motor. I found a YouTube video for a similar model where the repair person was able to separate the two pieces by twisting the tubes to the right (the video didn’t have the blue piece on their machine). Mine are not budging when I go to twist. Does anyone know if there is a trick to getting the two pieces separated? If it helps the dishwasher model is KUDS30FXSS5. Thanks.

There are metal clips holding it all to the back of the dishwasher

Do the screws around the moving arm need to be loosened?

Might have to unclip/ unscrew the part over the impeller first. The center piece of that flat tube.

Have to tried to pop the blue piece off?

Pop that tab (yellow) then turn so the other tabs (blue) are aligned with the space and lift that piece out

Pull slightly on the back plastic piece, it may just pop off, then you have more room to move the other pieces

Thank you everyone. Was able to get it out and can hopefully get to the chopper from here.

I have finally gotten down to the chopper portion. I just made a new post about the chopper/motor/power board. If anyone happens to have any info on those pieces let me know and I will link the video here as well, thanks!!!!!
