DWQA QuestionsHi! Almost all the floors in my house are covered

Hi! Almost all the floors in my house are covered in carpet. And I hate it! With two dogs, fostering rescue dogs and my allergies, carpet is my enemy. But, I’m really not in a position to remove 1,000 sq ft of carpet with a pro (I’ve gotten quotes for $4000~) Id love do something myself but I’m not particularly handy (I’m not awful either, somewhere in the middle) and it’s just me, so I don’t even have an extra set of hands. My current plan of attack is replace the carpet in the back family room (10 x 20 ft) and kitchen (10 x 16 ft) with vinyl peel and stick planks to see how it goes. The below product is what I’ve seen installed in some YouTube videos and it looks simple enough and affordable! And the reviews suggest it holds up well. Anyone ever installed any kind of flooring before with no experience and did it themselves? Anyone have any recommendations for another type of flooring? Anyone ever used or installed this product? My floor is uneven so I heard peel and stick is good for that. Any tips on removing carpet? In the kitchen is vinyl peel and stick right now, do I need to remove that before I lay more? Should I just save up to have a pro do it? I’m terrified y’all! 😬😬😬 thank you any advice!!!!

Get click together flooring. It’s very simple to do, just click together. Peel and stick is most likely not easy to remove if a mistake is made.
